General Info

We are so excited to welcome you all to our wedding weekend at the Atelier Playa Mujeres in Playa Mujeres, Mexico.

We have set up a group reservation service with Complete Getaways to make this experience as easy as possible.

We have arranged special events for our wedding weekend and in order to participate in these events, you must book hotel accommodations through our travel agent. If you make your own hotel arrangements, you will incur additional fees in order to participate in our events at the resort. Please note, a three (3) night minimum stay is required, but you are welcome to extend your vacation using our special group rates.

Event Schedule

Sunday 11/10
– Welcome party with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Monday 11/11
– Wedding Ceremony 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
– Cocktail Party with hors d’oeuvres from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
– Wedding Reception from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Deposits and Final Payments

Deposit: $150 per person
Deposit Payment Date: 5/8/2024
Final Payment Date: 6/19/2024

Any booking made after 5/8/2024 will be due in full.

All payments made including the deposit are NON-REFUNDABLE unless you purchase the travel insurance option at the time of deposit. More info on the insurance is listed below under the insurance section.

Resort Booking Policy Limitations

  • The resort will not allow any room changes once the group is within 30 days of travel. This includes the addition of nights, name changes etc.
  • The resort will not allow a reduction of nights after the final payment has been made.
International Travel outside the US and Canada

Please check with your local Consular’s Office for VISA stipulations and entrance requirements.

Airfare

Guests can work with Complete Getaways to obtain airfare pricing and book airfare directly with the agency or can book airfare on their own.

Only the hotel booking is required to be made through Complete Getaways, to avoid additional fees.

If you are booking your own airfare, please fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

Airport Transfers

Roundtrip Airport transfers from Cancun International Airport (CUN) are $45 per person.

Roundtrip airport transfers will be automatically added and reflected for every guest in their confirmation and invoice. All airport transfers are non-refundable after final payment.

You will be sent an email 90 days prior to arrival to submit your flight info using the form in that email. Please have your flights booked by that time.

Arrival airport transfers are specifically from the airport to the wedding resort listed above. Departure transfers are from the wedding resort listed above to the airport. If you are staying somewhere else prior to the wedding or or after the wedding at another resort then please let our team know (AT THE TIME OF BOOKING) so we can provide you a custom option.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current traffic conditions with the construction of additional roads near the airport, your departure transfer pickup time could be up to 5 hours prior to your flight’s departure time.

Accommodation Pricing

The information below specifies room category and price per night based on occupancy. Flights are NOT included. Rates will vary according to room occupancy, so please check with our travel agent based on your specific needs.

1. All inclusive accommodations at Atelier Playa Mujeres, including meals, drinks and activities as defined by the resort. Additionally, special food will be catered for all wedding events
2. All taxes, fees and tips, bellman and housekeeping fees.
3. Waived Private Event Fees.

Travel Insurance and Cancellations

PLEASE NOTE: Travel insurance is only available to guests who have a valid US or Canadian mailing address where they reside. However, residents of the Quebec province are not eligible. If you live in the province of Quebec or in a country outside the US or Canada, you would need to purchase travel insurance from a local insurance provider.

Insurance can only be purchased at the time of deposit.

Our Insurance options also includes in-destination COVID-19 Medical insurance.

We always recommend getting travel insurance which can be of great help in case of any issues that may arise. Insurance is optional and additional. Insurance must be purchased at the time of deposit. Insurance can safeguard you against the unknown and provide financial refunds on your travel investment depending on the circumstance.

Insurance rates will vary based on residency, age, and total package price. Typical average insurance prices are between $99-$129 per person. While those are the typical rates, all 3 factors play a part in your actual price which can vary from $69-$199 per person.

The amount of refund is based on the reason you provide to the insurance company at the time you file your claim. The cost of the insurance is non-refundable once purchased.

Riviera Maya & Cancun Area Eco Tax

The government of the Municipality of Benito Juarez Quintana Roo has added an Environmental Tax, which is the payment for the environmental sanitation right, applicable to all visitors per room per night. Tax of 26 Mexican pesos, (approx. 1.40 USD) per room, per night. This tax will have to be paid directly at the Destination.

For example: A room that stays 3 nights will be charged a total of $4.20 by the resort for this environmental tax.

Departure Tax for Quintana ROO Cancun and Cozumel Airports

We would like to inform you that as of April 1, 2021, the state of Quintana Roo will be requiring all foreign tourists to pay a tax of $244 Mexican pesos (around $11 USD). The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during the stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. Visitors will have the option to access http://visitax.gob.mx/, where they will complete a brief questionnaire and make the payment.

The VISITAX form will request the following information:
• Number of people traveling
• Name, age, and passport number of each individual
• Departure date

Every tourist departing the state of Quintana Roo must show their proof of payment at the airport prior to boarding.

Steps to book

Step 1 – Please fill out the form below, please remember one form per ROOM. Please use the couple’s name ( Jessica and Daniel) when adding a name for the group in the booking form.

Step 2 – Once completed, our team is notified and we will be in touch within 72 business hours if any additional info or clarification is needed.

Step 3 – We will book your room in the resort’s internal system and send you a copy of your invoice FOR REVIEW with all details INCLUDING your names, travel dates, DOB, and package price.

Step 4 – You will need to review and electronically sign off on the invoice that it is correct and give us permission to charge your card to process and confirm your booking. WE WILL NOT CHARGE YOUR CARD WITHOUT THIS WRITTEN CONSENT.

Step 5 – Once you sign this invoice electronically, we will process your card, and email you a confirmation invoice with your booking number showing the payment amount applied and the balance remaining with a due date.

PLEASE NOTE: If your travel dates are outside of the dates listed at the top of this page, we will need to confirm availability with the resort to have them add the nights in the system to book your room. This can take 5-7 business days while the resort adds the nights into the system.

Once completed, our team is notified and we will be in touch within 72 business hours.
