Ben Stiller stars in this one as a man who daydreams often to escape his fairly boring job. He ends up needing to go on an international journey after his job is threatened. Lost in Translation
If you’ve ever wanted to visit Tokyo, this one is for you. Bob Harris (Bill Murray) is a well-known American actor who accepts a job doing a commercial for Japanese whiskey to be shot in Tokyo as a way to keep his slowly sinking career going. While there, he meets Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) who he learns shares some of the same dissatisfactions in life as he does. Together, they roam through Tokyo learning how to get past their culture shock as they take in the sites and sounds. They become fast friends and bonds deeply but there might be room to become something more.
